Alexander Ahlstrand
Team leader – Team MMA 4Alexander Ahlstrand combined his studies in Transport Management with evening work as a salesman at Trygg Hansa. After graduation in 2019, he started working at Dachser, and on the 1st of March 2020, he joined Begoma.
– I’m new here, and I have a lot to learn. I have already learned a lot, but first and foremost, it’s about learning how to handle stress and taking one thing at a time. The biggest challenge is that there is a lot to be done within a limited time. Most things can be solved with a bit of patience.
Alexander receives almost all bookings via e-mail. His job is to find the right haulier/carrier at the right price for further transport of the goods.
– At the moment, I don’t have a vast network of contacts. I’m gradually trying to build up this with support from my team leader, who has his finger on the pulse. It’s essential to have a good relationship with the customers. Since I’m a positive person, I try to bring that feeling with me throughout the process. With my work at Begoma I can combine logistics with sales, which is both challenging and fun. As a driven person who likes to perform well, it suits me perfectly!
