Dominika Londal
Forwarder – Team GDYDominika Londal graduated from technical college and did an internship at C. Hartwig in Gdynia. For several years she has been working as an international freight forwarder. At the beginning of her career, she only focused on the Finnish market, but now she works with the European and Scandinavian markets. To be successful, you need negotiation skills, quick decision making, assertiveness, the ability to work under time pressure and respond quickly and accurately to requests. It’s also essential to understand the customers’ needs and regularly keep in touch with them via email or telephone.
Dominika starts working at 8 o’clock, and the first and most important task is to make the coffee! Then she works with the following tasks: checking the progress of ongoing transports, solving problems that arise, communicating with clients about shipments, dealing with new price inquiries, and together with colleagues in the Polish office buying and selling cargo.
Dominika studies business and languages with a focus on international trade. She lives in Gdansk with her little son Fabian and enjoys taking him to the park or travelling to new places, and of course, like every woman, she also loves shopping.
