Fredrik Malmberg was born in Gothenburg and grew up in Malmö. He established himself at Begoma early on and helped build the company’s first business system with his father Göran, the owner, shortly after the company’s launch in 1998.

– Since then, I have been working with IT and system development, human resources, internal processes and how we best connect customers with suppliers, says Fredrik. He has been Begoma’s vice president since 2014.

Fredrik has a university degree in computer technology and is also a trained artillery and air defence officer. He has also run his own Netto store and been operations manager for YMCA in Malmö. In addition to this he is also the CEO of Malmberg Fastighet AB, Begoma´s parent company.

Fredrik´s motto is ”Doubt kills”. He is curious and fearless and finds it exciting and educational to participate in various projects, companies, and associations. You always learn something new. The best thing about running Begoma is the variety of tasks. One day it may be about supporting the transport branch with control of supplier invoices; the next day, you’re making strategic decisions on the board or reviewing the construction of our new terminal at Malmö docks.

Being involved in many different business processes is very rewarding. It is also fun to develop an efficient IT system that facilitates employees’ everyday lives. Fredrik is very service minded and doesn’t admit defeat until everything works as it should.

Fredrik lives in Malmö with his partner, two children of his own and two bonus children, plus a dog and a cat. His interests include hunting and woodwork.

-I enjoy being outdoors as well as building and constructing things. It’s also fun to discover the world with my family. The family has found a new way to travel around by RV and with four children, there is never a dull moment.
