Madeleine Stein
Business Developer – Sales SEMadeleine Stein has been with the company since the very beginning. She worked at G&L Beijer Spedition when Göran and Ingrid Malmberg bought the company in 1998 and changed the name to Begoma Spedition.
– It was actually my mother who came up with the name Begoma, which is a merger of BEijer GOran MAlmberg,” says Madeleine, who now has been working in sales and business development for 10–15 years.
During her years in the industry, she has extended her expertise with forwarding, transport, and business English courses. She is also a member of the Swedish Transport Agency Region Syd as well as several other business groups in Malmö. Madeleine’s solid expertise and experience in all areas of forwarding and great responsiveness to customers’ needs are important assets for Begoma and our customers.
– The customers are constantly affected by what is happening on the world market, and our solutions must reflect this. In my role, customer focus is key, and our ambition is to be the customer’s expert in our field. As an independent operator, we can build our own transport solutions based on what is best for our customers. Creating solutions based on customer needs is a way to become a long-term partner. It’s also essential to live up to the sustainability requirements that we face these days, says Madeleine. She thinks that the best thing about her job is her close contact with the customers.
– Especially the physical meeting, which we know is very important to get the confidence to do business, especially for small and medium-sized companies.
Madeleine lives in Malmö, where she was both born and raised. She is married and has two adult children. She likes staying active and works out in the gym, plays golf and bridge, and enjoys skiing.
– I like sports and work as a volunteer for associations, including the gymnastics association Malmöflickorna, where I have been active for many years.
