Our controller Anette Sandqvist was born and raised in Lund. Before she joined Begoma in 2014, she worked at SEB, a Swedish bank, within both corporate and private sector markets and at finance departments within different companies.

She has worked both as an assistant at the finance department and a bookkeeper, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the department. Anette studied business administration in high school and has taken several specialist courses after that. When Anette joined Begoma, she worked in the finance department, but after one year, she was offered a new position as a controller with business support. She monitors the work of our freight forwarders’ work and what their transports entail and supports our salespeople whenever a helping hand is needed.

– It’s rewarding to see that my work makes things easier for our salespeople and freight forwarders. I try to make their work more efficient, and sometimes, I even find something to invoice that they may have missed. The most satisfying part of the job is the huge variation of tasks to be completed to make everything run smoothly.

For Begoma, one of the main advantages of Anette’s broad work experience is that it has given her insight into many different industries. Her perseverance in correcting things that have gone wrong and finding ways to improve the financial department is greatly appreciated at Begoma.

Anette is married with three children and two energetic dalmatians and lives in Åkarp, just outside Malmö. Floorball is another great interest, and she is both a youth coach and treasurer in the local floorball association. And just to ensure she doesn’t run out of energy Anette loves to do her Tabata workouts!
